Berkeley Heights Partner, Emery Mishky, received a favorable jury verdict following an 8-day trial before the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, in Middlesex County, New Jersey. Margolis Edelstein’s client, a tractor-tanker truck driver, was sued by a 21-year-old plaintiff who claimed that she suffered injury to her lumbar and cervical spine requiring treatment that included long term pain management, three Cervical Epidural Steroid Injections, and Cervical Spinal Decompression Surgery. She complained of permanent and severe debilitating pain through the time unit argument for the reminder of her 20,659 days of life. The plaintiff alleged Margolis Edelstein’s client truck driver struck her vehicle in the rear; and our client contended that the plaintiff cut him off. The jury returned a verdict finding that Margolis Edelstein’s client was not negligent.
