Mount Laurel partner Chris Marcucci secured a defense verdict in a case where Plaintiff sought underinsured motorist benefits after settling with the tortfeasor for policy limits. Plaintiff alleged that the recovery from the tortfeasor was insufficient to compensate for injuries sustained in the motor vehicle accident.
After deliberation, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the defense, finding that Plaintiff failed to prove she sustained any permanent injury as a result of the accident.
