On February 20, 2024, partner Bill Remphrey prevailed in a Motion for Summary Judgment in a slip and fall accident case in Delaware County, PA. The client, a snow removal contractor, was sued after Plaintiff alleged he was injured in a fall accident due to snow/ice on a sidewalk at an apartment complex in Exton, PA.
The trial judge granted Summary Judgment after the defense argued that the snow removal contract between the client and the co-defendant/apartment complex clearly excluded shoveling sidewalks. This was confirmed through the deposition testimony of the co-defendant’s property manager.
