Firm partner Jim Huggett obtained a dismissal for their client in a bankruptcy matter in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. The Court granted our Motion to Dismiss a lawsuit filed by a bankrupt debtor concerning our client’s taking of title to the debtor’s home in a tax-sale context. The debtor’s lawsuit asked the Court to void that transfer as illegal and, essentially, to give him back his home.
