Firm partner Raphaella Poteau successfully defended a professional liability matter in Philadelphia involving allegations that an insurance agency failed to provide correct coverage levels to a homeowner. Following a total fire loss, the insurance company paid its policy limits, but the rebuild cost far exceeded the policy payment. The homeowner-plaintiff then sued the insurance agency.
The case was forced to trial after our Summary Judgment Motion was denied. After three days of plaintiff presenting his case, the trial court granted our Motion for Non Suit.
