Christine O. Agbelese is an Associate in our Philadelphia location where her practice is focused in the areas of Labor & Employment and Entertainment and New Media.

As an Associate in the Labor & Employment practice group, Christine’s work focuses on representing both public and private employers in the many aspects of employment litigation, including matters involving discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, reasonable accommodation, and breach of contract claims.

As an Associate in the Entertainment and New Media practice group, Christine addresses her client’s needs in this dynamic industry including those in the areas of music, television/film, digital media, technology, art, and fashion.

While in law school, Christine took part in the Temple Law’s renowned Integrated Trial Advocacy Program.  Christine was honored for her exceptional dedication to public service with membership in the Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society and for her extracurricular contributions by receiving the Lena L. Hale Award.  After being elected President of the Temple Law School Black Law Students’ Association, she successfully received her Certificate in Litigation and Trial Advocacy.  Christine also worked for the Pennsylvania Innocence Project and the Name-Change Project; and she earned valuable litigation experience working with the Defender’s Association of Philadelphia.

Raphaella Poteau’s practice spans across multiple state and federal jurisdictions, focusing on a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters. Raphaella has experience representing individual clients to some of the world’s largest companies on a variety of issues including employment law, medical malpractice, professional malpractice, premises liability, and contract disputes. Prior to practicing law, Attorney Poteau clerked for the Honorable Joseph M. Cosgrove (ret.) in Luzerne County, PA.

While in law school, Raphaella was Vice-President of the Moot Court Honor Society, a Member of the Civil Rights Law Review, a Member of the Temple American Inn of Courts, and was inducted into the prestigious Rubin Public Interest Law Society.

Brian Drach is an Associate at Margolis Edelstein’s Philadelphia office straddling the firm’s Entertainment and New Media and Subrogation practice groups.

Brian’s expertise lies in recognizing talented artists, individuals and companies, and working with them to further their professional goals and protect their interests by carefully drafting and negotiating the agreements forming the basis of their business relationships.

As an Associate in the Entertainment and New Media practice group, Brian’s work focuses on preparing and negotiating agreements in the music, television/film, digital media, technology, art and fashion industries. Brian carefully adapts his practice to the respective needs of the firm’s clients which include established and developing artists, songwriters, producers, bands, independent record labels, digital distribution companies, content creation and management companies, music publishing companies, apparel companies, management companies, executives, influencers, actors, models, and multimedia fashion and lifestyle companies.

Brian also works with our insurance carrier clients to resolve and/or litigate commercial and residential casualty losses.

When not assisting his clients, Brian actively supports his local music community by attending events and developing personal and professional connections with the talented individuals and companies behind them.

Jason Berger is a partner at the at the firm’s Philadelphia office and manages the firm’s Entertainment and New Media practice group.

Jason’s expertise lies in recognizing talented artists, individuals and companies, developing strategies to achieve long-term success, and protecting their interests by rigorously negotiating and drafting the agreements forming the basis of their business relationships. Jason also has substantial civil litigation experience in a variety different industries and practice areas.

Jason’s practice focuses on securing and negotiating agreements in the music, television/film, digital media, technology, art and fashion industries. Jason’s client base covers the entertainment, media and technology industries and includes established and developing artists, songwriters, producers, bands, independent record labels, digital distribution companies, content creation and management companies, music publishing companies, apparel companies, management companies, executives, influencers, actors, models, and multimedia fashion and lifestyle companies.

Jason is a member and active participant in The Recording Academy’s Philadelphia Chapter, presently serving on the Board of Governors and Co-Charing the Chapter’s Advocacy Committee.

Jason is active in his community of Philadelphia, PA, where he is an adjunct professor at Drexel University’s acclaimed Music Industry Program, teaching a wide variety of music and entertainment related topics. When not assisting his clients or working with his students, he is involved in a variety of music related endeavors.
