Margolis Edelstein’s Managing Partners Recognized by The Legal Intelligencer’s 2025 Pennsylvania Legal Awards

Margolis Edelstein proudly announces that Managing Partners Michael P. McKenna and Christopher A. Tinari have been recognized by the Legal Intelligencer’s 2025 Pennsylvania Legal Awards. Mr. McKenna received the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Mr. Tinari has been named among this year’s Distinguished Leaders.

This year marks Michael McKenna’s 50th year as a member of the Pennsylvania bar. As the firm’s first and longest-serving Managing Partner, Michael has led Margolis Edelstein through three decades of growth, expanding from two to nine offices across the region. His practice as a litigator is equally impressive, having tried hundreds of cases across multiple states, including high-profile matters such as the San Juan Dupont Plaza and One Meridian Plaza fire cases. In addition to his trial work, Michael has authored legal publications and delivered annual litigation updates to the insurance industry since the 1980s. His commitment to legal excellence, leadership, and service has made a lasting impact on both the firm and the legal community.

Christopher Tinari, recently appointed as Managing Partner alongside Mr. McKenna, is recognized for his innovative and collaborative leadership. Over the past decade, Chris has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group from a single attorney to a nationally recognized team of over twenty-five. He has championed firm-wide diversity and mentorship initiatives, including the launch of a structured attorney development program and the firm’s participation in Project LITIGATE, a courtroom advocacy training initiative led by Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Christine Donohue. Chris’ commitment to attorney development and strategic growth continues to guide the firm toward a dynamic and client-focused future. The Distinguished Leaders Award is Chris’ second award from the Legal Intelligencer. In 2022, he received the Intelligencer’s Law Firm Mentors Award.
