Jason Scagline is an associate in Margolis Edelstein’s Employment and Labor Law Group, where he focuses his practice on the defense of employers and businesses in civil rights and employment litigation. Drawing on several years of experience in criminal practice, Jason brings a defense driven, trial ready approach and a strong command of high stakes litigation to his current work.

Jason represents clients in claims involving alleged violations of federal and state civil rights laws, including discrimination, retaliation, and related constitutional claims. His background in criminal law has honed his courtroom advocacy, motion practice, and case assessment skills, allowing him to quickly identify exposure, develop defense strategy, and position cases for early resolution or trial when necessary.
