Taylor W. Isaac is an Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice Group in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office of Margolis Edelstein. His practice focuses on representing employers of all types in litigation and arbitration involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, wage disputes and any other aspects of labor and employment.
Prior to joining Margolis Edelstein, Taylor was an Assistant District Attorney in Allegheny County. During his time in the District Attorney’s Office, Taylor practiced in the Post-Conviction and Federal Habeas Unit, conducting research and evidentiary hearings in order to evaluate and respond to claims pursuant to the Post Conviction Relief Act and federal habeas corpus claims.
Taylor earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was awarded the Community Service Award upon graduation. During law school, Taylor was a member of the mock trial team where he competed in multiple regional or national competitions including the American Bar Association Labor & Employment Trial Advocacy Competition. Taylor was also a finalist in the intraschool Murray S. Love Trial Competition and intraschool Pitt Law Negotiations Competition. Taylor was also the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in International Business Transactions. In addition to this experience, Taylor also served as the Business Manager for the Sports & Entertainment Law Society his second year of law school, transitioning to an Executive Advisor his third year. While in law school, Taylor worked as a Judicial Intern with Pennsylvania Superior Court Judge John L. Musmanno and as a Certified Legal Intern in the General Trial Unit of the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office.
Prior to law school, Taylor graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology.
