Stacy L. Montgomery Jr. joined Margolis Edelstein in April 2022. Specifically, he joins our department that handles insurance defense, premises liability, complex construction litigation and contract disputes, and automobile and trucking accidents.
Stacy began his career by opening his own criminal law practice. Stacy primarily represented criminal defendants who were accused of gun and drug possession, driving under the influence, and violation of a restraining order. Although a new attorney, Stacy gained a fair amount of pretrial and bench-trial experience, which comes from working on his own cases and working second chair on other criminal defense attorneys’ cases.
Stacy graduated Cum Laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in May 2021 and went on to pass the July 2021 Pennsylvania Bar Exam. He was a member of Thomas M. Cooley Law School’s Law Review and Law Journal, simultaneously. He was also a LexisNexis representative on Thomas M. Cooley Law School’s Lansing campus.
Stacy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lincoln University in May 2014 where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree.
