Matthew P. Donelson is a partner in the Wilmington, Delaware office. Mr. Donelson is an experienced litigator, having tried hundreds of cases in various state and federal courts in the past 20 years. In addition, Mr. Donelson has successfully briefed and argued motions before various state courts in Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Donelson concentrates his practice on insurance defense, premises liability, employment discrimination claims, and toxic torts.
Mr. Donelson represents numerous Fortune 500 companies in state and federal courts as well as at the administrative level. He defends employers in labor and employment matters including claims involving Title VII; ADA and ADEA claims. He has frequently been a panelist at various seminars involving Employment Discrimination topics. In addition to representing large businesses, Mr. Donelson also represents non-profits, providing counsel on pending litigation, potential future litigation and breach of contract claims.
Prior to joining Margolis Edelstein, Ms. Donelson was a partner in a large law firm, where he gained valuable litigation and trial experience. He was also an Assistant Prosecutor in New Jersey, prior to entering private practice.
Mr. Donelson is licensed to practice law in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
