Loren Barron is a skilled litigator with extensive experience in torts, corporate, and contract disputes. Ms. Barron concentrates her practice in business litigation and professional liability defense representing lawyers, accountants, and other professionals in the Court of Chancery, Superior Court, and Federal courts.
Ms. Barron was born and raised in Newark, Delaware. In 2003, she received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, magna cum laude, from the University of Delaware where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Tau Delta and a recipient of the Edward Arlo Willing Scholarship Award. Ms. Barron obtained her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, in 2007 on a merit scholarship where she was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honors Chapter.
Prior to joining Margolis Edelstein, Ms. Barron practiced at a Delaware litigation firm where she gained significant experience in business litigation and defending professionals. She also served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Superior Court of the State of Delaware for the Honorables John E. Babiarz, Jr. and Diane Clarke Streett. Ms. Barron also has the distinction of practicing appellate law in Bradenton, Florida, and serving as a Federal Judicial Intern in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida for the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich.
In addition to her law practice, Ms. Barron served for three years on the Board of Trustees for Delaware Dance Company, a non-profit ballet school in Newark, Delaware.
