Kyle A. Peterson is an Associate in Margolis Edelstein’s Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. Mr. Peterson practices in the area of civil litigation with a specific focus on toxic tort defense. Within a diverse litigation practice, Mr. Peterson regularly represents clients and insurance carriers throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of West Virginia.
Prior to joining Margolis Edelstein, Mr. Peterson was an Associate at a regional insurance defense firm performing similar work in the areas of mass and toxic torts. In this role, Mr. Peterson represented a wide variety of clients throughout the litigation process including discovery, motions practice, and trial preparation.
Mr. Peterson earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Peterson was a member of the school’s Health Law Program through which he received a Certificate of Advanced Study in Health Law. While a member of the Health Law Program, Mr. Peterson worked as an intern for the Allegheny County APPRISE Program, helping indigent and elderly clients navigate major health programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. During this time Mr. Peterson also clerked at a personal injury law firm, conducting research and assisting attorneys throughout litigation. Mr. Peterson is also a graduate of Penn State Erie, The Behrend College from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. As an undergraduate, Mr. Peterson worked as an intern for a member of the United States House of Representatives.
