Dana Hasness, is an associate in the Labor & Employment Practice group in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office of Margolis Edelstein. Her practice focuses on representing both public and private employers in all aspects of employment law including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, breach of contract, unfair competition, and wage hour claims. She also advises employers on various workplace matters such as employment policies and handbooks, employment contracts, employee accommodations, workplace discrimination, and other employment issues.
Before joining Margolis Edelstein, Dana served as an associate attorney at a litigation defense firm specializing in professional liability defense and as a legislative assistant for the Pennsylvania Senate. After graduating from law school, Dana clerked for the Honorable Clyde W. Waite in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.
Dana graduated from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. While at Villanova, she served as a member of the J. Willard O’Brien Inn of Court and the Environmental and Energy Law Society. Dana was also a student mentor and a Villanova Law Ambassador.
Prior to law school, Dana graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Economics from Drew University. While at Drew, Dana was President of the Student Government Association. While she is not practicing law, Dana serves on the Board of Directors of the Breastfeeding Resource Center, a non-profit located in Abington, Pennsylvania.
