Alexandra Skarka is an associate in the firm’s casualty litigation department, where she defends insured and self-insured entities in a variety of litigation matters, including construction and automobile accidents and premises liability. To ensure she can successfully defend clients involved in construction accident litigation, Alexandra completed the OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety and Health course.
Prior to joining Margolis Edelstein, Alexandra was an associate attorney at a Philadelphia litigation defense firm specializing in general litigation matters for local business franchise owners. After graduating from law school, Alexandra acted as a Law Clerk for a Philadelphia law firm representing plaintiffs in mass tort litigation.
While in law school, Alexandra served as an Associate Editor of the Villanova Law Review and acted as a teaching assistant for the 1L Legal Writing program. She was also a recipient of the Dorothy Day Award, recognizing outstanding achievement in pro bono service for her work as a Certified Legal Intern in the Farmworker Legal Aid Clinic.
