Practice Areas: Construction Law and Litigation

Our experience in the construction industry has ranged from the representation of home remodeling companies to national contractors and architectural firms. We have had the privilege of representing general contractors, subs, suppliers, warrantors and surety companies involving alleged defects and delays in both commercial and residential construction in federal and state courts. Among other areas, we have handled cases involving subsidence, roof deterioration and collapse, water infiltration, storm water management and grading, caisson and foundation work, highway construction, concrete breakdown and failure, HVAC defects, windows, roofing and siding failures.

We have also represented contractors in bid protest cases and surety companies in payment and performance bond issues. The partners involved in this practice area are members of the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee of the ABA and the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry, as well as other industry related groups.
