Carol Ann Murphy has extensive trial and appellate experience in the Pennsylvania Federal and State Courts. While at Delaware Law School of Widener University, Ms. Murphy was a member of Phi Delta Phi law honor society and was a staff member of The Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, as well as a Casenote Coordinator of the Delaware Law Forum. She was the recipient of the Judge J. Cullen Ganey Award and the American jurisprudence Award for Criminal Law in 1986. She authored IRS Need Not Comply With Section 7609(f) In Issuing a Dual Purpose Summons: Tiffany Fine Arts v. United States for The Delaware Journal of Corporate Law in 1985. She was formerly a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph T. Murphy of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. Ms. Murphy serves as an arbitrator for the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County and as a Judge Pro Tem for the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. Ms. Murphy has been associated with the firm of Margolis Edelstein since 1988 and is a Partner at Margolis Edelstein.

Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals of the Third Circuit. Member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Association and Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity.
